Raising Our Matriarchs – St’át’imc Women’s Gathering 2022

What is a matriarch?

a woman who is the head of a family or tribe or an an older woman who is powerful within a family or organization

At this women’s gathering we are focusing on raising our current and future matriarchs of the St’át’imc Nation. Here we will be speaking about the following 4 topics:

  1. Coming of Age
  2. Alan
  3. Unconditional Love & Humbleness
  4. Traditional Teachings – Upbringing
